Japan PM Takaichi to meet Trump at White House under shadow of war on Iran
Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi is in Washington for summit talks with US President Donald Trump. She is the first major American ally to meet Mr Trump face-to-face since he called for countries, including Japan, to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz. 90% of Japan's crude oil imports pass through Hormuz, and the interruption to that flow of oil could hit home soon.
