Insights from a new Community Relations Unit (CRU) and a strengthened mediation and disputes resolution process in cases of neighbour disputes will hopefully lead to a better understanding of the causes of noise disturbances in high-rise living and how to manage the problem. This could result in more empathy and consideration among all parties and also guide HDB and private developers in designing and building homes to minimise noise.
