Jessica Tan on Public Sector (Governance) (Amendment) Bill

Government agencies can share data with trusted external partners to help deliver services to the public more effectively and seamlessly, said MP Jessica Tan. Speaking in parliament on Monday (Jan 12), she highlighted the practical questions that matter to Singaporeans. She wanted to know how government agencies would decide on when the data can be shared with external partners, what documentation is required, how the approval would be managed and how they would ensure that every external partner is truly capable of protecting the data it is entrusted with.
