Joan Pereira on Health Information Bill
The Health Information Bill is necessary for Singapore to transition to an integrated community-based healthcare ecosystem, said MP Joan Pereira. Speaking in parliament on Monday (Jan 12), she highlighted two aspects which are essential for successful implementation. Firstly, there should be comprehensive onboarding support for general practitioners, including innovative shared staffing arrangements for small clinics. Secondly, there should be strengthened support for community partners to ensure seamless continuity of care across the healthcare ecosystem.
