Kampung Gelam sees record 1500 diners at annual Mass Iftar event

This year's Mass Iftar - or breaking of fast - at Kampung Gelam's Ramadan celebrations recorded the largest number of diners in its four-year history. A community of around 1,500 diners ate at a table the length of the entire Arab Street. The turnout is about 300 more people than at last year's event. Reporting by Nasyrah Abdul Rohim.
