Koh Poh Koon on social media and gaming addictions among youth

Social media and gaming addictions among youth are not currently tracked by the Ministry of Health, said Senior Minister of State for Health Koh Poh Koon. However, the ministry is working with experts to review the latest medical evidence on the issue and working with the National Council of Social Service to review access to addiction support services in the community. Dr Koh flagged counselling and intervention programmes available for those seeking help right now. He was replying to an MP’s questions in parliament on Tuesday (Oct 14).
