Koh Poh Koon on stronger support for hawkers
The Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment has existing measures to support hawkers. It recently adjusted its policy to help hawkers with manpower challenges and will announce plans to further support stallholders at markets and hawker centres at the Committee of Supply debate. Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Koh Poh Koon said this in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Tuesday (Feb 18).
