11:31 Min

The Government must ensure that no organisation, company or school in Singapore can compel their staff or students to take part in gay-themed projects if they do not subscribe to the same values, said MP Lim Biow Chuan. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Nov 28), he also called for legislation to make it an offence to put out hate messages or derogatory comments to intimidate others into keeping silent. He stressed that there should be no space for people to propagate hate messages in Singapore. Mr Lim also urged the Government to ensure that content guidelines for publications, video games and various types of media will remain pro-family.
