Louis Ng wraps up debate on Good Samaritan Food Donation Bill
In Parliament on Wednesday (Aug 7), MP Louis Ng addressed key concerns and questions raised by Members of the House during the debate on the Good Samaritan Food Donation Bill that he had moved. They covered the following areas - the potential for the Bill to have the unintended effect of chilling food donations, who is covered under the Bill, meeting the four conditions for waiver of liability, support and help for food donors and recipients, and public education and partnerships. The Bill was then passed.
