Malaysia PM Anwar urges ASEAN to forge united front in face of aggressive US tariffs

Malaysia plans to send a team to start talks with the Trump administration on the new import tariffs. As ASEAN chair, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said the bloc must remain open to free and fair trade. He also highlighted the importance of forging a united front in the face of Washington's aggressive trade policies. Malaysia has set up a multiagency task force to study sectoral impact and mitigate fallout from unilateral tariffs by the US. Melissa Goh reports.
