Malaysian PM Anwar, Chinese VP Han Zheng among key leaders attending Russia's Eastern Economic Forum
Key leaders from Asia have gathered in Russia's Vladivostok for the annual Eastern Economic Forum -- aimed at highlighting the economic potential of the country's far eastern region. During his meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed interest in developing relations with ASEAN. Mr Putin also met with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng. He added that he's expecting to see President Xi Jinping at the BRICS summit in Russia's Kazan city next month.
