Maliki Osman on Singaporeans in Afghanistan
No Singaporeans are currently registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Afghanistan. In view of the Taliban takeover, MFA had strongly advised Singaporeans against going to or staying in that country. With no diplomatic representation there, MFA is limited in its ability to provide urgent consular assistance to any of its citizens, said Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Maliki Osman. He was answering an MP’s question in Parliament on Tuesday (Sep 14).
