Masagos Zulkifli on applications for ComCare financial assistance
Most applications for ComCare are processed within four weeks and almost all are processed within six weeks. Time is needed to assess a household’s application for financial assistance to ensure that it meets the eligibility criteria and for proper stewardship of public resources. At the same time, ComCare applications have been made simpler and more convenient with digitalisation. Social and Family Development Minister Masagos Zulkifli, who highlighted this in reply to an MP’s question in Parliament on Wednesday (Nov 13), said the Government will continue to explore ways to streamline the processes.
