Masagos Zulkifli on festive grants by Lee Foundation
The Lee Foundation disbursed about S$82,000 in festive grants to about 680 recipients in 2023 for Chinese New Year. The Hong Leong Foundation and Shaw Foundation also disburse Chinese New Year festive grants annually to ComCare long-term beneficiaries, with the amount averaging about S$960,000 per year over the past five years. Social and Family Development Minister Masagos Zulkifli gave this update in Parliament on Monday (Mar 6) in reply to an MP’s questions.
