Masagos Zulkifli on progress in the Singapore Community Wakaf

The key thrusts of the Singapore Community Wakaf (WMS) will be announced in the next few months, said Social and Family Development Minister and Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Masagos Zulkifli in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 2). In response to an MP's question, he said that he is reviewing recommendations from an advisory panel that was headed by MUIS council member Abu Bakar Mohd Nor. The panel had conducted a series of targeted engagements with key stakeholders to better understand the Muslim community's sentiments and identify the critical factors for the WMS to succeed.
