Middle East conflict: Israel kills 31 in Lebanon, vows to expand strikes after Hezbollah fire
Amid the widening Middle East conflict, Israel has said it is striking targets in Iran and Lebanon, after rocket fire from Iran-backed Hezbollah. Strikes rocked the Lebanese capital Beirut before dawn. The health ministry said at least 31 people have been killed and 149 wounded. It's the first time in more than a year that Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for a strike against Israel. Meanwhile, Iran has rejected entering negotiations with the US, as fresh explosions are heard across Doha, Dubai and Manama. Kate Fisher reports from Washington DC and Blake Sifton reports from Dubai.
