Migrant Workers’ Centre calls for safer transport arrangements

An organisation championing the well-being of migrant workers in Singapore is calling for a clearer separation between vehicles used to transport personnel and those carrying equipment. The Migrant Workers' Centre says the current overlap remains a risk during transportation. It says more can be done to keep workers safe on the roads, even as new rules this year on speed limiters and a ban on caged lorries are welcomed. Nikhil Khattar with more.
