More disposable income in Q3, driven by higher salaries | Video

Singaporeans had more cash to spend in the third quarter this year. The Department of Statistics said higher salaries for workers and cash vouchers from the government helped boost disposable income. While market watchers expect this high expenditure pattern to continue till end of the year, challenging economic conditions in 2023 could see more belt tightening and boost savings rates.
