More Singaporeans aware of common mental conditions: Study
A national mental health study found that more Singaporeans are aware of and able to recognise common mental health conditions. Stigmatisation also reduced significantly. Analysts say this high mental health literacy rate would enable those facing issues to better seek treatment without fear of being judged. The study by the Institute of Mental Health comes eight years after it was first conducted. Nadine Yeam reports.
