MSF extends Place-and-Train programme to 200 more persons with disabilities
The Social and Family Development Ministry is extending its Place-and-Train programme by another two years. This will help 200 more persons with disabilities find and retain jobs. The programme was launched in 2021 and provides participating employers with salary support of up to 90%. Since then, 131 employers have hired more than 330 persons with disabilities. Meanwhile, for persons with disabilities who are able to work but not yet ready to take on jobs, the ministry will add 500 more places to its Sheltered Workshops programme.
