Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim on helping Singaporeans process the impact of international conflicts

Singapore is a diverse society and some Singaporeans relate strongly to events abroad, including international conflicts. The government aims to foster better understanding of these developments and explain the implications for the nation and individuals, while providing space for civil dialogue. Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim said this in parliament on Tuesday (Apr 7) in answer to an MP’s questions. He outlined inter-ethnic and interfaith initiatives to build trust across communities, channels for Singaporeans to help those in conflict zones such as Gaza, and avenues for those in the Muslim community to receive counselling and guidance.
