Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim on 'shared responsibility' in road safety
Traffic Police (TP) is intensifying its education and engagement efforts, as well as working with various partners and stakeholders to promote road safety. It will be publishing a series of road safety videos in the second half of this year. Minister of State for Home Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim announced this in Parliament on Tuesday (May 7), in reply to MPs’ questions. Turning to questions on how the road infrastructure can be modified or improved to enhance safety, he said TP works closely with the Land Transport Authority on this. Dr Faishal told the House that the Government is strongly committed to doing all it can to keep Singapore’s roads safe. He stressed that road safety is a “shared responsibility” and urged all road users to play their part.
