Mask requirements in Singapore will be further reduced to prevent fatigue setting in, said PM Lee Hsien Loong in his National Day Rally speech on Aug 21.
Masks will only be required on public transport and in healthcare settings such as clinics, hospitals as well as residential and nursing homes. Everywhere else, masks will be optional.
