New draft standard on tree management open for public consultation from Nov to Jan

A new draft standard on tree management includes how frequent and how much to prune, and even the correct method to cut off large branches. It is aimed at making trees more resilient and sturdy as new species are being introduced, as well as to prevent trees from falling in severe storms. The draft will be open for public consultation from next month until January. Alexandra Anand reports.
