New job-matching initiative launched to help workers find jobs near home

Jobseekers can now find work, right in their communities. Community Development Councils, which function as a bridge between the government and residents, will now match them to employers. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong launched the programme, with the assurance that all who are looking for work will be cared for, no matter the state of the economy. Beatrice Yap reports.
