Ng Chee Meng on supporting workers as AI disrupts jobs

“In the AI age, it is no longer the blue-collar worker that may require protection, but even the white-collar workers,” labour chief Ng Chee Meng said in an interview with CNA on Monday (Feb 23) on Singapore's jobs situation and the impact on AI.

Mr Ng added that the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) is looking to better support fresh graduates and youths as AI disrupts entry-level jobs.
