At least nine people were killed in Indian-controlled Kashmir after explosives that were confiscated accidentally went off inside a police station. More than 30 others were injured. The explosion happened in the Nowgam area of Srinagar as police and forensic experts were examining what they call “unstable” explosives. All those killed were police and forensic officials.
