Singapore has put in place a system of digital COVID-19 test certification and is in talks at the International Civil Aviation Organization and with various countries to mutually recognise such certificates. Answering an MP’s questions in Parliament on Monday (Mar 1), Transport Minister Ong Ye Kung said Singapore does not plan to mandate that travellers must be vaccinated. He also said more data is needed before deciding if border controls can be reduced for vaccinated people and if there should be any differentiation between vaccines for this purpose.
