The Singapore Democratic Party team contesting Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC says it will focus on the proportion of votes it captures, whether or not it wins. The party says such team leads may also be candidates in this year's election, though its list of prospective candidates has not been finalised. People's Alliance for Reform Secretary-General Lim Tean says the main opposition goal for Potong Pasir should be to win it back from PAP at the upcoming election.
