Pentagon policy chief calls for NATO based on 'partnership rather than dependency'

Boosting NATO's presence in the Arctic and shoring up more support for Ukraine topping the agenda as the alliance's defence ministers met in Brussels. Sweden has said it will send fighter jets to patrol around Greenland as part of NATO's newly launched Arctic Sentry mission. Washington's commitment to the alliance is also under question as Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth skipped today's meeting.
