PM Wong glad that some public servants have answered call to run in upcoming General Election

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said he's glad some public servants have answered the call to run at the upcoming General Election, as part of renewal efforts within the ruling PAP. He added that he has been spending a lot of time engaging, persuading and encouraging people to enter politics. Mr Wong said potential candidates must have the commitment to serve and enter politics for the right reasons. He was speaking to the media in Hanoi as he wrapped up his two-day trip to Vietnam.
