PM Wong to make first visit to Australia and New Zealand as Singapore prime minister

Singapore is set to elevate ties with Australia and New Zealand during Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's official trip to both countries this week. This, as Singapore marks 60 years of relations with its long-standing partners. Mr Wong will also upgrade bilateral ties with Australia to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership 2.0 — the first country that Singapore will have such a deal with. Singapore and New Zealand have shared an Enhanced Partnership since 2019. Claudia Lim reports.
