Primary 1 registration exercise to start on Jul 1
Speaking on the Primary 1 registration exercise, which will begin on Jul 1, Education Minister Chan Chun Sing says the Education Ministry reserves 20 places in Phase 2B and 40 places in Phase 2C in every primary school. This is to ensure education is accessible to children from different backgrounds. He notes that in the last three years, most primary schools had enough vacancies to admit all applicants and no balloting was needed.
