Pritam Singh seeks clarification from Murali Pillai in debate on Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) Bill
In Parliament on Monday (Oct 4), Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh sought clarification on comments made by MP Murali Pillai during the debate on the Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) Bill. He asked Mr Murali if he would agree that the Bill introduces an ouster clause on which no “equilibrium” on what was acceptable was sought from the people, in the absence of a public consultation.
