Rahayu Mahzam on Silver Generation Ambassadors
The Silver Generation Office (SGO) has deployed about 3,000 staff and volunteers as ambassadors to proactively reach out to seniors, said Parliamentary Secretary for Health Rahayu Mahzam. Replying to an MP's questions in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 2), she also shared statistics on the number of home visits made by these ambassadors. Besides home visits, they relied on telephone check-ins during the COVID-19 pandemic.
