Raj Joshua Thomas on Police Force (Amendment) Bill

The proposed amendments to the law are timely to ensure that Singapore's Auxiliary Police Forces (APFs) and officers stay true to their mission, said NMP Raj Joshua Thomas. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Aug 2), he hopes to see them not just as "partners" of the Home Team but as "part of the Home Team", especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. He stressed that the APFs are respected and trusted by Singaporeans due to their professionalism and hard work. This should not be taken for granted, he said.
