Saktiandi Supaat on Workplace Fairness (Dispute Resolution) Bill

The Workplace Fairness (Dispute Resolution) Bill is a landmark for Singapore - a social compact for the future of work and one of the most structured and progressive statutory frameworks of its kind in the region, said MP Saktiandi Supaat. In parliament on Tuesday (Nov 4), he asked if Singapore is on course to meet its timelines, as well as about details of grievance-handling processes and quantifying claims. He also asked if Workplace Fairness Act decisions could be publicised for public understanding and as a form of deterrence against errant employers.
