Seah Kian Peng on Women's Charter (Amendment) Bill

There are many "common sense" elements in the Women's Charter amendments, said MP Seah Kian Peng in Parliament on Monday (Jan 10). He said family and marriage should continue to be protected and strengthened. He called for stronger flexible work support for employees at all life stages, especially mothers with caregiving duties and career development for "back-to-work" women. He said divorce proceedings should consider the livelihood concerns of single mothers, as well as the support they would need.
