Shawn Huang on Support for Job Redesign programme
The Support for Job Redesign programme aims to help employers redesign jobs to drive business objectives. These include accommodating flexible work arrangements, improving workforce effectiveness and helping business to tap on a broader pool of workers. It is not targeted to bring platform workers back to traditional employment, as they operate under different work arrangements. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Manpower Shawn Huang said this in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Wednesday (Jan 14).
