Sim Ann on licences under the Massage Establishment Act
In 2017, the Ministry of Home Affairs amended the Massage Establishment Act to expand the police's consideration when assessing massage establishment licence applications to include assessments of the responsible officers of the business entity and all persons with a substantial interest in or have control or direction over the business. Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs Sim Ann highlighted the features of the Act in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Thursday (May 7).
