Sim Ann on Town Councils Financial Rules

Senior Minister of State for National Development Sim Ann said her ministry is currently reviewing the Town Councils Financial Rules to ensure that they remain relevant to the town councils' evolving operating context. She said the threshold of the procurement value which triggers the need for a tender to be called by town councils is one of the items under review. Details will be shared with all town councils when ready. Ms Sim was replying to an MP’s questions in Parliament on Thursday ( Mar 7).
