Singapore committed to support APEC, offered to host 2030 Summit: PM Wong
Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said the country has offered to host the APEC Summit in 2030 as it is committed to supporting the group's goals. Speaking at the end of this year's summit in Lima, Mr Wong said the gathering remains an important platform for economic cooperation. He added that APEC economies are standing firm against rising trade barriers, even though there are concerns that free trade is not benefiting everyone equally. Jeraldine Yap with more from Lima.
