Singapore to invest S$4 billion in air navigation over 15 years
Singapore will invest S$4 billion on air navigation services over the next 15 years, as air travel demand continues to grow. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore will replace and upgrade more than 30 systems, expand its air traffic controller workforce by 40%, and introduce new technology - including AI, to improve safety, efficiency and capacity. The upgrades are designed to support up to one million aircraft movements a year and strengthen Changi Airport's future operations. Charlotte Lim reports.
