03:26 Min

Singapore will launch the Overseas Networks and Expertise, or ONE Pass AI and Tech track, next January to attract top global talent in AI and quantum computing. It will replace the existing Tech Pass with more attractive terms. Introduced in 2023, the ONE Pass targets foreign high-earners with outstanding achievements to strengthen Singapore's global competitiveness. So far, over 8,000 individuals are on the pass. Meanwhile, the Manpower Ministry will also expand the Non-traditional Sources (NTS) occupation list, to allow firms to hire non-PMET workers from a wider pool of countries for roles where there might not be enough locals.
