Singapore launches national mindline 1771 to provide 24/7 mental health support
A free 24/7 helpline for people who have mental health concerns. Singapore's national mindline 1771 will replace the Institute of Mental Health's hotline, which had been in service for the past 18 years. Existing specialised helplines — such as those for suicide, teen pregnancy or problem gambling cases — said the new mindline will help them better allocate resources amid growing demands for call centre volunteers.
