Singapore and the United Kingdom will co-lead Asia Pacific's first shared mission to space. The satellite launch will allow players in the region, including Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines, to test technologies in space at a lower cost. At the Global Space and Technology Convention, Singapore firms also signed global deals.
