Singaporeans cancel or postpone trips to Middle East amid Israel-Iran conflict

Singaporeans are cancelling or delaying their trips to the Middle East, given tensions in the Middle East. Tour agencies tell CNA that many clients are looking to avoid flights through the region, and turning instead to destinations in Africa and nearby Asian countries for travel. Meanwhile, Singapore has welcomed the recently announced ceasefire between Israel and Iran, with the Foreign Affairs Ministry urging all parties to abide by the ceasefire, and to return to a pathway of diplomacy and dialogue.
