04:17 Min

Singapore cannot survive global storms without first holding together at home, said Minister Chan Chun Sing in Parliament. He said it's up to everyone to strive towards a Singapore that survives and thrives, while the government commits to do better alongside Singaporeans. Looking ahead to SG100, Mr Chan said Singapore will need leaders at every level with mission, grit and the courage to innovate. He also called for everyone to live by the values of "we before me" — putting the collective before self and taking care of one another. Sherlyn Seah reports.
