Singapore's central bank MAS expands use cases for tokenisation next year

The Monetary Authority of Singapore  will trial the issuance of tokenised MAS Bills to major banks next year, and the settlement of these transactions using Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). This comes after a successful trial earlier this year, when three local banks tested overnight loans among them using a digital Singapore dollar. Nasyrah Rohim reports.
