02:27 Min

Price increases in Singapore are continuing to slow as February saw the fifth consecutive month of easing core inflation. It fell to 0.6 per cent last month from January's 0.8 per cent. Headline inflation, which accounts for accommodation and private transport, also cooled to 0.9 per cent from 1.2 per cent. Analysts say inflation is returning to pre-pandemic norms, a stark change from previous years.
